RICHARD SORIANO VISITS ARIZONA

On his way to the GOVENERGY 2008 Conference at the Phoenix Convention Center on the weekend he visited the area, he managed to stop by the U. S Airways Center. He was accompanied by Mr. Bert Saria, a former Diego Garcia colleague and now a resident of Avondale, Arizona, to get around Scottsdale and Phoenix area. Bert also kindly came to meet Tiger at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. It was a surprised change of space temperature for Tiger, since the dry hot summer temperature of was melting the mercury at 105-110 degree Fahrenheit. It's just like the air coming from a hair dryer. But anyway, this is tolerable as long as you don't stay on the outside too long. But may be once the body get acclimatized to this warm temperature then it is more bearable. Because of this temperature condition, Golf Green fees are surprisingly low compared to the usual more than $200 normal on Spring time. The rate now ranges between 21-75 dollars since the playing window is limited on early morning and late afternoon only. Not advisable to play on the midday if you have not acclimatize yet. About food, there are variety of restaurants from Seafood, Thai, Japanese, Italian, and of course the traditional entree of Mexican and Indian inlfuenced menu. Although the majority of the population are of Hispanic origin, there are also Mediterranean, Vietnamese and other Asian cuisine. Ok, this is all for now and more to come.
