See Picture on the Left: APWO LCDR Jay Cavnar played at Coral Sands Golf Course before he transferred to CONUS. This was his Farewell game at this challenging course in the middle of the Indian Ocean. He was paired with PWO CDR Joe Simpkins. The group found the course hungry and swallowing a few balls while negotiating on the treacherous narrow fairways especially at hole nos. 3, 4 and 5. The other pairs on the same flight with the CEC officers were TigeRichard and Nesty Sahagun, and the tandem of Dave Cruz and Rey Matutino. Each of the team finished their front nine round breaking 40. After the round, the flight group posed for a picture at the clubhouse.
