4th of JULY ALL OFFICERS GOLF TOUR

The 4th of July weekend proved to be a busy weekend when a group of island stakeholder officers competed on the Commodore Anthony Martin initiated golf tournament in a Texas Scramble format. There were 18 teams that participated and enjoyed the game under a nice tropical weather with mild to strong breeze and wind conducive to testing a player's ability to maneuver the dimpled white ball. Top 3 finishes went to the following tandems; 1st Place: Richard Soriano and Ramon Garciano; 2nd Place: Air Boss LCDR Harmon and Julius Diasnes; and 3rd Place went to the tandem of Capt. Sutton of the Bennet and LTJG Spencer MSCO XO. The participation is quite well represented from the whole spectrum of the officer golfing community. Although the NSF Skipper Capt. Flanagan bailed out on the morning of the tournament due to a sore shoulder, maybe too much worked out at the Fitness Center the night before.
