Last night we have a simple get together, the fishermen and golfer group prepared some drinks and pulutan seafood fried and soup plus the famous wings special. The group had to endure laughters and taste buds exercise trying to savor the sumptous kimchi prepared by Bongski. The drinks as usual is topped by the MIller Lite and followed by the export quality Philippine San Miguel gold. Don't forget, we had also the bottled water for those on therapy and those who rely on dilution prcoss to slow down the effect of party alcohol.
Well that was last night, this morning a bowling fun game was on the rocks for all the OG's sponsored by no other than Don Orlino Encarnacion (the famous ORLYNS team Manager) who will be retiring for good in the Zamabales area. He does not use tee on his sports, but he use his Hammer Bowling ball in making strikes. He was the longest serving Bowling League President in the island and also the most active and able supporter of the DODCEA and OCEA group. WE wish Don Orlino (Tito Orly to some) the best on the next Chapter of his life being, retired. I have witnessed most of his participation in the community and all were naturally sincere outstanding friendship bestowed to all. We wish you best Orly, GOD Bless, as they say in the navy, "Fairwinds and Following Seas". Have a safe and enjoyable trip back home. Mahalo.
Well by the way, tomorrow will be another Golf tournament, to be participated byt he perennial golfers from the Philippines and the native of downtown: Dave Cruz, Rey Mat, Glenn Garcia, MOn Garciano, Erly Gonzales, Mitch Carlson, Bong Dela Cruz, Chief Levi Rifareal, Chief Jim Featherston, and yours truly. Did I miss other white dimpled ball hackers? Ah there's the GIL amc, Butch Cap and Nes Sahagun. Well Godd luck to all participants. Enjoy your prize T-shirts if you miss the gift certificates category. Have a nice weekend and play safely. Best regards, Tigerich

Weekend Tour
Hello folks,
Played four rounds of golf this weekend with friends. Two rounds each on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was a good day for golfing, there was a moderate to gusting wind which tempered the heat of the tropical sun. The first round was good, I got a skin and on the second round got one skin too. Sunday, which was a MWR tournament, my game started with a good tee-shot and an approach shot for an eagle but the 3rd shot went pass the green and ended up a bogey due to poor putting. I finish the round on a bogey golf. This is not a winning score even for the last spot for a MWR gift certificate. The next round were better, scored a 3 over par but of course it is a best ball scramble. After the grueling aerobic walk on the course's fairways, we treat ourselves with a late lunz at the PK Inn for Sinigang, Caldereta and CPA (Chicken Pork Adobo). Glenn, Dave tried their luck on the one-arm bandit but not so lucky. We'll try again this weekend. Ok folks, keep practicing your short game. Dave and Glenn, by the way, made even par on their best ball round. Tonight another golf colleague will arrrive on-island after a full month of Philippine family and golf vacation. Ok Ciao! V/R, Tigerich

MYFIRSTBLOG
HELLO FELLOW WHITE DIMPLED BALL HACKERS. i CREATED THIS BLOG TO SHARE WITH MY OWN GOLF EXPERIENCES AND ALSO TO LEARN FROM YOUR PURSUIT OF THIS GAME.
STARTED CONTEMPLATING TO PLAY GOLF IN 95 BUT I DID NOT HIT A REAL GOLF BALL UNTIL 96 AND ACTUALLY WALK ON THE FAIRWAY IN 97. SINCE THEN I GOT HOOK ON THIS WONDERFUL GAME. I ALMOST QUIT AT THE BEGINNING, COZ IT'S SO HARD TO MAKE THAT WHITE BALL AIRBORNE AND DIRECT TO WHERE YOU THINK YOU WANT IT. bUT WITH PERSISTENT TIME AT THE RANGE FOR TWO YEARS THEN I FINALLY CROSSOVER WITH THE FULL USE OF THE CLUBS IN MY BAG, THOUGH IT'S STILL TOUGH TO USE THE DRIVER. I STILL ENJOY THE UPS AND DOWNS OF MY LONG AND SHORT GAME, BUT WHAT COUNTS MOST IS YOUR WALK WITH NATURE AND THE LAUGHTERS THAT COMES DURINGA ROUND. SO HOW ABOUT YOU FOLKS, HOW DID YOU START? PLEASE SHARE YOUR ESCAPADES AND LET THIS BE THE START OF A HONEST SHARING FOR THIS HEALTHFUL EXERCISE OF WALKING THE FAIRWAYS.
